Online Service Requests

Description: The City of Gainesville launched an online service requests system in 2015. Community members can report issues such as potholes, graffiti and tall grass. To report an issue, download the myGNV app for iOS or Android, or go to myGNV.org. This dashboard displays all the service requests submitted since launch. You can see them grouped by commission district, request type, and month.

How to use: The dashboard and map are interactive. Use the slider on top to filter by date range. You can also filter requests by Commission District, Request Type, or Month by clicking on the packed bubbles, bar graph, or line graph. To select many, use Ctrl + click on Windows or Cmd + click on Mac. Click again to unselect. Hovering over the graphs will give you more information about the data. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find a link to the raw data available on dataGNV, the City of Gainesville's Open Data Portal.
